We will require a cash deposit from you on arrival at Bukit Lawang and the balance will be payable on the day of the trek (also in cash). We accept Visa and Mastercard via PayPal
As this is nature, sightings of orang-utans and other wildlife can never be guaranteed, however, maximizing your stay in the jungle and following our instructions, the chances are favourable.
Generally you need to have a moderate level of fitness. Mud, hills and dense forest can make trekking a challenge at times. However, don’t let this put you off, we are experienced in arranging treks for people of all ages and abilities.

Good walking shoes, insect repellent, waterproof/water resistant bag or liner, travel towel, water bottle, hat, waterproof jacket, a change of clothes (if staying overnight), sun screen and a camera.
It is always advisable to book in advance and is essential if you need to trek with us on a specfic day/date. However, last minute treks can be arranged in Bukit Lawang on arrival. Please note, we are a small company and you may need to be flexible with your start date if booking on arrival.
All treks leave from Bukit Lawang village. We will arrange to meet you at your guesthouse/hostel or at one nearby.
